From the desk of Bro. Landon Fraker, Bus Director of the Grace Baptist Church:

It is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to tell you about our Bus Ministry.  Currently, we have four different bus routes serving Delaware and surrounding areas:

Bus 1:  Captain - Bro. Jim Frost   City: Southern Delaware

Bus 2:  Captain - Bro. Len Shirk   City:  Marion, Prospect

Bus 3:  Captain - Bro. Gale Musselman   City:  Northern Delaware

Bus 4:  Captain - Bro. Jarrod Sherman   City:  Marysville, Richwood, Magnetic Springs

Each bus is staffed with a captain, sufficient adults, and teenaged workers to assist each rider, and each one of the workers has been trained to work with children.  Our buses are not just for children, however; many teenagers and adults also take advantage of this transportation ministry to ride our buses to church every week.

A normal Sunday bus ride would involve a pick-up at your door, singing and activities on the way to church, and an occasional snack on the way to church. Each rider would then attend an age-appropriate Sunday school class, where he would be taught the Bible. During the church hour, there are three age levels of junior churches specifically geared toward the younger children while the main service is being held in the sanctuary.  On the ride home from the morning service, each rider receives a snack, songs are sung, and games are played.

It is our desire that you would visit our church by car or by one of our a bus routes. Please feel free to contact the church at 740.369.3813 to schedule a pick-up time for you or your children.  Your message will then be given promptly to the captain over the route assigned to your area of residence.
