Each of our adult Sunday schools is specially designed for a certain age group or category.  Each class is fully equipped with teachers and assistants, and each class participates in its own monthly or quarterly activities.  Please feel free to contact the church office (740.369.3813) or email the church secretary for further information regarding any of these classes.  We hope to see you this Sunday, attending one of these classes!

1. The Foundations Couples Class:  Teacher - Dr. Eric Sapp, Associate Pastor

The Foundations Couples Class began the first week of March, 2000, with the purpose of providing an enjoyable time of fellowship and fun, and with teaching aimed at meeting the needs of families and couples in particular. Over the years, the class has grown remarkably with a high day of 119. On any given Sunday, approximately one out of four people in Sunday School will be seated in the Chapel attending the FCC.

Class begins with light refreshments and fellowship, followed by singing and a practical lesson. Couples find the FCC a time of help and encouragement, as well as a means of getting to know other families. Many make their most meaningful friendships here. All married couples, or married people whose spouses are not able to attend, are invited to attend. The traditional age for most attenders is between 20 and 50, but anyone is welcome. Coffee is always ready by 9:00AM, but class officially begins at 9:30AM and ends at 10:15AM every Sunday.

2.  The Crossroads Class:  Teacher - Bro. John Tucci

The Crossroads Class is for single, young adults who are out of high school and either in college or are working a career.  The C&C Class meets in Room 205.

3.  The Berean Class:  Teacher - Bro. Ed Thompson

The Berean Class, whose name is taken from the book of Acts, chapter 17:10-11, is for middle-aged adults.  The Berean Class meets in Room 202.

4.  The Senior Saints Class:  Teacher - Bro. Dave Dobbins

The Senior Saints Class is for our church and community's senior citizens.  The Senior Saints Class meets in Room 204.

5.  The Ladies' Bible Class:  Teacher - Miss Doris Spratt

This Ladies' Bible Class is designed specially for any single lady of any age or category, including unmarried, widowed, divorced, or married but attending church alone.  The Ladies' Bible Class meets in Room 203.

6. The First Steps at Grace Class:  Teacher - Pastor Corey Bane

The First Steps at Grace Class is a class taught by Pastor Bane, specifically designed in four-week modules to give new members an introduction to the ministries of the Grace Baptist Church - our position, purpose, procedures, and principles.  First Steps at Grace is for any new member or new believer; but as the class only holds twelve at a time, those wishing to participate in the class must sign up for a future module in the church office.  The First Steps at Grace meets in the Administration Wing's Conference Room.
